In Kindergarten Spanish again this morning... when I was asked mid-class, "Mrs. Sawyer, what's your real name?"
"Well, my name is Mrs. Sawyer."
"no it isn't! That's your Spanish name! What's your real name?"
"My real name is Mrs. Sawyer."
"Oh. then what's your Spanish name?"
at least that's better than being called "teacher."

Dude, I forgot to tell you my kindergarten story. (I mentor a kindergarten student on Wednesdays, by the way. It's a lot of fun, but he has trouble focusing, so it's also a test of my patience.)
Anyway, here's the scene:
Taylor and Brian were talking to each other, instead of writing stories.
Me: Brian, please stop talking to Taylor so he can focus and do his work.
Brian: Okay. Taylor, it's really important to do good in school so you can grow up and get a job and make money and buy an expensive wife.
Me: Do wives cost a lot of money?
Brian: Yes, they're very expensive to buy.
HA! I loved it. (And of course Brian was very serious.)
Love you friend!
